Yard Operative

Are you looking for a reliable role with great hours and a friendly team? We’re working with a busy timber company who are looking for timber yard operatives to join their team immediately on a temp to perm basis.

As a Timber Yard Operative, you’ll be supporting the team with:
• Loading and unloading timber deliveries
• Sorting, stacking and organising timber products
• Assisting with timber processing and general yard duties
• Ensuring the yard is kept tidy and safe at all times
• Supporting the team with basic manual handling tasks

No previous timber experience is necessary — full training will be provided. However, we’re looking for candidates who:
• Are reliable and punctual
• Are physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
• Can work well as part of a team
• Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
