Thorne and Wait are on the lookout for production technician we currently have two vacancies available for this role. My client is not necessarily looking for candidates with experience as full training is provided. My client has an outstanding history within the manufacturing sector and have been operating for over a decade with the aim to expand their business further afield.

What is the role of a production technician?
> Setting up equipment
> Observing progress to maintain product quality
> Picking and packing customers’ orders
> Careful visual inspection of products
> Completing all documentation to maintain traceability
> Follow all safety procedures
> Cleaning of equipment and surfaces
> Assist with other duties, e.g. printing labels and monitoring of environment
> Ability to learn skills and progress
> Be able to work within a team environment
> Keep up to date with standards, be able to work under pressure
> Prioritise all work
> Show dexterity
> Show accuracy and have an eye for detail
> Handle numbers, good numeracy skills
> Be able to produce clear handwriting
> Ability to lift boxes
> Knowledge of Window and Microsoft Products
> Experience in manufacturing is a plus
> GCSE’S in English and Maths
Hours of work: Fulltime permanent position – 7/2 hours per day, 5 days per week, working between 10:00am – 6:00pm (Please Note Hours May Differ).
The ability to work additional hours would be beneficial Overtime rates would apply.
