This is an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our health manufacturer based in Brackley, Northamptonshire.

What you will do:
• Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the production department ensuring the Health & Safety of all colleagues whilst maintaining and making improvements in all areas.
• Coach, develop and lead staff & establish a continuous improvement culture.
• Manage and monitor the site performance KPI’s and targets ensuring that all colleagues are striving to achieve the same goal
• Create the most efficient production schedule for the day / week and ensure it is being reviewed and updated to ensure service is being met and labour and material resources utilised effectively.
• Continuously identify ways to reduce costs & improve standards & efficiency in all areas.
• Drive standards in all areas.
• Lead daily review meetings to ensure customers are serviced in full of all production KPIs achieved.
• Lead by example and drive high standards.
• Implement cost control programs.
• Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
• Analyse and production and product quality to detect and correct areas of concern.

About you:
• Experience in managing and leading a fast-paced production team.
• Proven experience in a people management role with the ability to deliver strong results.
• You will have experience with lean manufacturing, process flow and continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
• A firm grasp of manufacturing-related activities, specifically production cost control, safety and quality, is a must.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and report information/findings, develop recommendations, and implement process changes in order to improve operational performance.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills in order to engage motivate and develop large teams with varying skillsets.
• The ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation and cross-functional teams through the application of effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
