General Labourer

Thorne and Wait are currently looking for a Grounds General Labourer to join our busy client based in a village outside Bicester.

**Applicants ideally must have their own transport**

We are looking for the most vibrant, exciting, enthusiastic candidates. We want team members to be outgoing, customer focused, always willing to help and always willing to own a problem to completion. They will always support the customer in every action.

The person needs to be a team player, who will take pride in the appearance of the client’s outside spaces.

Carrying out the following but not limited to:

• Maintain shrubbery, planters and trees within the customers demise
• General maintenance such as mowing, hedge cutting, planting, pruning and strimming etc.
• Weed control throughout the area
• Spot gritting in the winter months
• Litter clearing throughout the grounds
• Periodic jet washing required
• Watering of flowering planters and courtyards throughout the grounds
• Clearing of surface drains
• Maintaining and clearing of walkways, emergency exit stairs and roadways including rubbish clearing, sweeping
• Adhoc bench maintenance including jet washing and varnishing
• Re-sanding block paving as and when required
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure the grounds are always looking their best

Rate of Pay
